Leonard Kaczmarek, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on January 21, 2020. He was born on February 4, 1945, to Stanley and Marguerite Kaczmarek in South Haven, MI.
Leonard worked as a Manufacturing Engineer in the automotive industry and found delight in being members of the Corvette Coventry of Southwest Michigan. He and his wife Diana traveled between Michigan and Florida since their retirement in 2009. Being ever the devoted car enthusiast, they also joined the Punta Gorda Isles Car Club after retiring.
Leonard enjoyed spending time on the water in his boat and was constantly working on projects around the house. His idea of a good time always included power tools and spending time with his family. Leonard adored attending all the activities of his grandchildren and vacationing over the years with the whole family. He was a kind man, dedicated to his loved ones and will forever be missed by all who knew him.
Leonard will be deeply missed by his wife and best friend, Diana; daughters Laura (Tim) Barganier; Kathy (Greg) Zvolanek; and Melinda (Bryce) Schadler; brother Don (John Scoppa) Kaczmarek; sister-in-law Jodi Kaczmarek; 8 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a niece and nephew; and 1 great-niece and 3 great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ralph Kaczmarek.
