Leonard F. Nicolay

Leonard F. Nicolay, 71, of Punta Gorda passed away Thursday, September 29, 2011. He was born December 22, 1939 to Leonard and Isabelle (Camara) Nicolay. Leonard and his wife Rosemary of 48 years, spent their winters in Florida and summered in Somerset, MA. Five years ago they became permanent Florida residents. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed sailing. Leonard was a big New England sports fan cheering his favorite teams the Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by his wife Rosemary; daughter, Carla (Kirk) Block; sons, Michael (Michelle) Nicolay and Todd (Lorraine) Nicolay and seven grandchildren. A celebration mass will be at 11:00 am, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Church.
