Lea "Fern" Dennis

Fern Dennis, 69, of Cape Coral, FL and Murphy, NC passed away Thursday January 3, 2019. She was born June 19, 1949 in Trenton, NJ, to Frank and Pearl Pagliaro. Fern began her career as a radiology technician at Helene Fuld Hospital in Trenton, NJ. Upon moving to Lee county in 1975, she continued her career in radiology and managed the Womens Breast Center for several years. She spent her adult life educating and creating awareness regarding breast cancer. Fern retired from Lee Health in 2011 as Director of Ambulatory Services. She enjoyed spending her time volunteering and boating with her husband Denny. Fern will be greatly missed by her husband of 49 years, Denny; son, Gregory W. Dennis; sister, Lynne (Ben) Bell; brother, Guy (LeeAnn) Pagliaro; as well as several nieces and nephews. There will be a private Celebration of Life held for family at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society of Ft. Myers.
