Lawrence "Larry" N. Tolpin

Larry Tolpin, 66, of Punta Gorda, FL, passed away unexpectedly on August 29th, 2021.

Larry is survived by his wife of 45 years, best friend, and love of his life, Donna. He is also survived by his beloved children Ben (Stacy) Tolpin, and Stacy (Justin) Snyder, his four dearly loved granddaughters, Ella & Elaina Snyder and Addie & Alex Tolpin, and his loyal dog, Lucy. He will also be missed by countless close friends and family, who were blessed to have known him, and who his family is forever grateful to.

He is preceded in death by his parents Benjamin & Bernice Tolpin and his Brother Mark Tolpin.

After serving for 25 years side-by-side with his brothers and sisters in law enforcement, Larry retired from the Dayton Police Department in November 2013 at the position of Detective Sergeant. In his retirement, Larry enjoyed boating, cooking, taking Lucy to the dog park, and meeting weekly with friends for breakfast.
