Kirk Beres

July 5, 1963 — September 21, 2021

Kirk Beres of North Port, FL passed away on Tuesday morning, September 21, 2021, at Tidewell Hospice House in Charlotte County.  He was 58 years young.  Kirk was born & raised in Allegheny County, PA.  He graduated from Ringgold High School and went on to earn a Finance Degree at Robert-Morris College.  Always industrious, he maintained several jobs and continued to develop his skills.  He also met the love of his life, Ann; and married her in 1989.  A management position with a national restaurant chain transferred the pair to MD.  Ultimately, he trained for and secured a position as a Commercial Roofing Estimator for R.D. Bean; which he loved.  After suffering debilitating effects of his life-long health struggles, he decided to retire and move to North Port, FL to enjoy the sunshine and beaches.

Kirk was a jovial, fun-loving, and dedicated family man.  He loved all animals and frequently fostered and adopted cocker spaniels, as well as a few cats.  He loved to vacation on Hilton Head Island, in Colonial Williamsburg, and snorkel in the Bahamas, St. Barts, and Hawaii.  Kirk taught children’s Sunday school classes and became an integral part of the spiritual life in several church families throughout his life. He loved God and was a dedicated disciple and shared the love of Christ with all who knew him.

Kirk is survived by his devoted wife, Ann; beloved brother, Mark; loving niece, Cheyenne; nephews Eric Jr and Jared; cousins of the Speicher, Curtis, and Campbell families; and best friends Mike and Toni and their children, Joshua, Adam & Benjamin.  A brother, Eric; an infant sister, and parents, Patricia & Tom have pre-deceased him.
