Kim Stan Meadows, 75, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 3, 2024 with his beloved wife of 43 years, Nancy, by his side. Kim was born January 20, 1949 to Roy and Janyce Meadows. He grew up in Grimes/Dallas Center, Iowa and went on to earn his BS and MBA degrees from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.
Kim was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved to travel with his wife. He was a seasoned veteran of the financial industry, starting his banking career at Iowa Des Moines National Bank (predecessor to Wells Fargo Bank), ending with BMO Harris (formerly M & I Bank) in Madison WI.. He successfully engaged in four distinct careers in his life: a banker, an automobile dealer, a real estate developer and a college professor. Kim was on numerous boards and non-profit organizations. He loved boating the waters in Okoboji, Iowa and Florida.
Kim is survived by his wife, Nancy Meadows, his daughter, Lee LaRue (husband, Joe) and granddaughter, Sierra. Also nieces, nephews, their spouses, 2 sisters-in-law and a sister in-law and her husband.
