Kevin M. Maguire

Kevin M. Maguire, Sr, was the son of John P. Maguire, Sr and Juanita (Johnson) Maguire, born June 24, 1958 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Kevin moved to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1974 from Bricktown, New Jersey and worked as a driver/mover for Curry Moving and Storage. He was a member of Community Life Center; he enjoyed playing softball and coaching the church teams. Kevin had a great love for fishing with his brothers and nephew, Shawn Maguire; he also enjoyed taking walks on the beach with wife Sheryl. Kevin passed away October 5, 2008 at the age of 50. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 11 years, Sheryl; daughter, Suzanne Maguire Powers of Tampa; sons, Kevin Maguire, Jr of Wildwood, FL and Anthony R. Maguire of Tampa; stepsons, Joseph (Kristine) Krecklow of Arcadia and Robert Mooers of Indiana; mother, Juanita Maguire of Port Charlotte; brothers, John Maguire, Jr of Toms River, NJ, William Maguire of Felton, PA, and Patrick Maguire of Arcadia; sisters, Diane Maguire of Venice, Karen Evans of North Port, and Mary Gitzen of Arcadia; granddaughter, Alicia; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Kevin's life will be at 12:00 pm, Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at the Community Life Center in Port Charlotte.
