Kenneth Raymond Silvia

Kenneth (Ken-Ken) Raymond Silvia, born on March 29, 1987, in Providence, Rhode Island, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep at his home in Port Charlotte, Florida, on August 24, 2024. He is remembered with love and affection by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Kenny "Little Bear" was a beloved son, cherished by his mother Doreen (Guy) Silvia and his father Kenneth Silvia, known to most as Bear, and loving big brother to sister Krystale. Throughout his life, Kenny formed deep and lasting bonds with an abundance of family and friends who will miss his warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit.

Kenny enjoyed working at various jobs, especially Bayonet Air Conditioning where he made lasting connections with those around him. His strong passion for life, allowed him to embrace each moment with joy and enthusiasm.  He was a die-hard fan of America's Team, the Dallas Cowboys. Kenny was thrilled to see them in action with his family in Miami, only making him even more of a fanatic.    

Among his many interests, Kenny had a profound love for music, often finding solace in his favorite song, "Don't Grieve for Me." This song resonated with him, reflecting a part of his journey and the way he approached both life and relationships.  He would not want you to be sad when you think of his journey into heaven's backyard. Only celebrate in his honor and be happy knowing he fought the good fight living by his own rules and is now free to walk and run without pain.  

Only God knows why Kenny went so soon.  His sudden passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless stories shared by family and friends. As we remember Kenny and celebrate his life, smile and raise your shot glass knowing he is toasting you back with a smile on his face letting you know he will always be near.
