Kenneth R. Delahunty

Kenneth R. Delahunty, Jr, 68 of Seminole Lakes, Punta Gorda and Easton, PA died October 2, 2009 in Port Charlotte. He was born on September 27, 1941 in Sharon, PA to Hilda and Kenneth Delahunty, Sr. A graduate of Penn State with an MA, Ken spent his life teaching; the final 33 years a Professor of English at Northampton Community College in Bethlehem, PA and retiring in 2003. Ken is survived by his wife, Susanne (Andresen) Delahunty; daughter, Johanna Delahunty of Somerville, MA; brothers, Bill, Keith and Jack and maternal aunt, Margaret Stewart. A memorial service will be held in PA at later date. Donations may be made in his name to TideWell Hospice and Palliative Care, 5955 Rand Boulevard, Sarasota, FL 34238.
