Kenneth G. Schaefer

July 14, 1941 — March 3, 2020

Kenneth George Schaefer of Noblesville, IN passed away at 78 years of age, March 3, 2020, at his residence in Punta Gorda, FL.  After attending some college classes, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Reserves.  Following his time as a Marine, he pursued sales, management, and industrial based-business.  He started his own company, Colt Industrial Sales and Marketing in 1982, and he continued its success until his retirement around 2016.  Although Ken retired, he continued to “tinker” with various projects as a commercial building owner in Noblesville.

Through the years, Ken enjoyed boating in Kentucky, Indiana, and Florida and was an active member of the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary.  He was a vintage car collector, owned several Ford Model “A” cars as well as others.  This interest also led to his participation in the Model “A” club, where many weekends were spent traveling with his wife, Linda, and fellow enthusiasts.  Ken was also a collector of classic firearms, which was the inspiration for the name of his business.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Linda Anne Schaefer.  He is survived by his son, Kenneth M. Schaefer (Patricia), and his daughter, Kimberly M. Kurtz (Jeffrey), and three grandchildren, Darrin, Ryan, and Reagan Kurtz.
Family was extremely important to Ken and the family has chosen to have a private ceremony and celebration of Ken’s life.

As many of you know, Ken had a love for country and showed strong support to the Republican Party.  Therefore, in lieu of flowers and a service, Ken would appreciate your continued support in Making America Great.  You may send donations in Ken’s honor to https://secure.donaldjtrump.com/donate
