Kelsey Jene` Irons

Kelsey Jene` Irons was born June 12, 1991 in Cape Coral, Florida and lived her entire life in Port Charlotte, Florida. Kelsey was a 2009 graduate of Port Charlotte High School, where she played on the softball team and lettered 2 years; she was currently attending Edison College. She also enjoyed working at Riverside RV Park and getting to know the winter residents and guests. Kelsey had a competitive spirit and a passion for softball; she enjoyed playing recreational and travel ball and on the team at New Day Church. She will be remembered for her deep love of family, bright smile that could light up a room, mischievous streak, loyal and gentle heart, and wonderful laugh. She filled her life with family and friends and enjoyed keeping in touch with Facebook. Kelsey passed away May 21, 2010 at the age of 18. She will be greatly missed by her mother, Jeanette (Daniel) Gander; father J. Scott (Linda) Irons; brothers, Eric (Stephanie) Patterson, Jonathon (Michelle) Irons, and Jeremy (Brandy) Irons; step-sisters, Jessica Rose and Maria (Thaddeus) Capeles; step-brother, Kevin Gander; aunts, Lorelei (Mark) Dahlkemper, Dawn (Barton) Marx, Cheryl (James) Reuter, Roberta O'Connell, Andrea (Michael) Gordon, Kimberly (John) Fulton, and Leslie (Ralph) Bustamante; uncle, Mark Irons; grandparents, Janice Kilburn, Nancy Irons, and Dr. Howard (Bobbi) Irons; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
