Karen Gershak

Karen Gershak, 48, of Port Charlotte passed away May 30, 2011. She was born November 26, 1962 in Elgin, IL to Duane and Gloria (Alegria) Carlson. Karen worked as a waitress and moved to this area from Chicago, Illinois in 2000. Karen will be greatly missed by her daughter, Velvet Carlson of Port Charlotte; sons, Marshall Anhalt of Port Charlotte and Max Gershak of Chicago, IL; brothers, Jack Carlson, Jeff and Kurt all of Chicago, IL and sister, Nancy Hewitt of Gretna, NE. She was preceded in death by her son, Jason Carlson. The family will receive friends 2:00 to 4:00 pm, Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
