Justine Goebel

Justine Ransom Goebel, 102, died June 26, 2024 in North Port, FL. She was born in Windsor, Connecticut on April 23, 1922.

Justine attended Chaffee Girls School, Mount St. Joseph High School and Lasell Jr. College in Auburndale, Massachusetts, class of 1941. Justine was a long time resident of Stamford, Connecticut. She was a past member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Stamford Chapter and was Regent from 1983-1985. Justine was also a past member of the Colonial Dames, National Society Daughters of Founders and Patriots of America, and the Stamford Women's Club.

She was preceded in death by her husband Alvin R. Goebel, grandson Michael J. Goebel and son-in-law Dane C. Scott.

Justine is survived by a son A. Raymond Goebel, (Mary) of Plymouth, MN and daughters Jerilyn Scott of Doylestown, PA, and Gail Paulson, (David) of Port Charlotte, FL, 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held on August 17, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, 628 Main St., Stamford, CT 06901. Interment will be private at Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY. Donations may be made to the Daughters of the American Revolution.
