Judy K. Alves

Judy Alves, 79, of Punta Gorda, FL, formerly of Barrington, R.I. passed away October 16, 2017. She was born January 25, 1938 in St. Albans, VT to John and Kathryn Bressette. Judy graduated from the College of St. Rose, Albany, NY and worked as an RN. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda. Judy was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. She was truly an angel on earth who was loved by everybody that knew her or even met her. We were so very blessed to have her in our lives. Judy will be greatly missed by her husband of 55 years, Daniel; daughters Lynne Alves Reese of Punta Gorda and Karen Alley of Fort Myers, FL; brother, J. David Bressette of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; nephew, Mark; niece, Kara; grandchildren, Alexandra, Ciara, Austin and Chase Alley. A memorial mass will be held at 11am, Thursday, November 9, 2017 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to Cancer Research.
