Josiah E. Smith

Josiah E. "Joss" Smith, 68, of Port Charlotte passed away Monday, January 7, 2013. He was born July 22, 1944 in England to Harry and Harriet (nee Hitchen) Smith. Joss moved from England to Port Charlotte 10 years ago and was the owner and operator of Dough Boys Pizza and Subs. His nick name was the "Cookie Monster" because he enjoyed eating cookies while watching TV. Joss will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father and had a great smile. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Glennis; daughter, Claire (Kevin) Jubb of UK; his four-legged companions, Brandy, Spike, Jill and Sophie. A memorial service to celebrate Joss' life will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 12, 2012 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
