Joshua A. Jordan

Joshua A. Jordan, 22, of Port Charlotte died Saturday, September 30, 2017. He was the son of John and Jennifer Jordan, born December 27, 1994 in Huntington, WV. Josh was a 2013 graduate of Port Charlotte High School, and was a member of the Pride of Port Charlotte band. An accomplished musician, he continued to volunteer as an instructor and mentor for the Pride band members, as well as being a member of the Praise Band at Liberty Community Church. Josh was a member of the 2011 and 2015 Madison Scouts Drum and Bugle Corps, and the Knights Alumni Corps. He had varied interests that included not only music, but motorcycles. He loved truth and beauty; his presence could light a room, and he had a beautiful way of helping others fit in. Josh will be greatly missed by his parents, John and Jennifer; grandmother, Christina Rayhill; brother Jacob; longtime girlfriend, Darian Crespo; and many others whose lives he touched. A celebration of Joshua's life will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Cultural Center Theater, Punta Gorda, FL. Memorial donations may be made to Kingsway Elementary School Memorial Fund.
