Joseph C. Harris

Joseph C. Harris, 77, of Punta Gorda passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2009. He was the son of Melvin C and Kathleen (Chambers) harris, born February 16, 1932 in east Point, GA. Joe worked for AT&T for 33 years before retiring and moving Punta Gorda in 1991 from New Jersey. He was an avid Duke Blue Devil Basketball fan and enjoyed sailing and fishing. Joe will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Nicole Harris of Punta Gorda and daughter, Karen (Bennie) Croy of McDonough, GA. A memorial service will be at 11:00am, Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda. Memorial donations may be made to charity of your choice.
