Jon A Zieler

Jon A. Ziegler, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013. He was the son of Allen and Verna (nee Galli) Ziegler, born April 24, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio. Jon graduated from Tulane University with a BA and his Doctorate at Ohio State University College of Law. He was Assistant Attorney General of Ohio under William Saxbe and retired from Ohio Education Association as General Counsel. Jon was a member of Scottish Rite Free Masonry, Aladdin Shriners of Columbus, OH. Aladdin Mariners & Aladdin Mariners Yacht Club and Columbus Power Squadron. Jon will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Sue; brothers, Randy (Sue) and Roy; sister, Suzie (Fred) Mazzarini; brother-in-law, Jim (Mickey) Shaw all of Columbus, OH and many nieces, nephews and grand-nieces and nephews.
