Joie Lane Denhart Hochstetler, 74, of Punta Gorda, Florida, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Joie was born in a log cabin in Palmyra, Indiana on August 15, 1933. She was a teacher and homemaker. She majored in motherhood and had her Ph.D. in grandmotherhood. She was a member of the Eastern Star and attended Cleveland United Methodist Church. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, John Max Hochstetler of Punta Gorda; daughter, Sue Elaine Hochstetler Liming and son-in-law Richard Liming of Richmond, Indiana; son, Bryant Max Hochstetler of Salem, Indiana; son, Dennis Wayne Hochstetler and daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Dykes Hochstetler, grandson Jesse Lee Hochstetler and granddaughter, Amanda Marie Hochstetler of Milltown, Indiana; daughter Mary Allison Hochstetler Webb and son-in-law, Larry Alan Webb of Longwood, Florida and sister, Doris Jane Denhart White of Clarksville, Indiana.
