John A. Warram, 86, of Punta Gorda passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. He was the son of Max and Alice (Jarrad) Warram, born on July 6, 1928 in Flint, MI. John served in the Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954. He worked at Fisher Body until he moved to Punta Gorda in 1963, where he owned John Warram Construction for 40 years. He was very active in the Cleveland United Methodist Church and was a P.G. little league coach. He never met a stranger and everyone loved him. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. John will be greatly missed by his wife Helen of 65 years; sons Rick (June), Randy and Ronnie (Andrea); daughter Rhonda (Gary) Farabee; 10 grandchildren; 18 Great-Grandchildren; brothers Eugene, Dave and Jim; and beloved dog, Boca. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ernest, Floyd and Bob. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 2:00pm at Cleveland United Methodist Church, 28038 Cleveland Ave, Punta Gorda, FL.
