John Warden

John Warden, 75, of Port Charlotte passed away December 23, 2007. He was born June 27, 1932 in Richland, MO to John and Marie (Powers) Warden. John served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a small engine mechanics teacher, which he earned his state teachers certificate at age 60 and retired in 1991. John moved from Independence, MO to Port Charlotte in 1975. He was of the Baptist faith and will be remember as a loving, devoted husband and father. John will be greatly missed by his wife of 53 years, Jessie Warden; daughters, Judy (Richard) Fitzgerald and Diane Green; sister, Opal Shultz; grandchildren, Samantha Christie, April Kolesar and Jason Burke; five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be at 3:00 pm, December 29, 2007 with Rev. Jerry Dinnan officiating at the families home. To express condolences to the family, please sign the online guest book.
