John Stephen Martin

John Stephen Martin, 27, of Punta Gorda passed away April 19, 2006. He was born August 4, 1978 in Fall River, MA to Ross and Mary (Sylvia) Martin. John graduated from Port Charlotte High in 1996 and was a news editor for Waterman Broadcasting. He traveled all over the country and intended on pursuing a career in the movie industry. He was involved in the Punk Rock music business where he helped with various bands and concert venues. John will be greatly missed by his parents Mary Sylvia Martin of Pt. Charlotte and Ross Martin of Kissimmee, FL; brother Jake Martin of Rhode Island; sister Sara Martin of Punta Gorda; friends Danny and Marissa Byrd of North Carolina along with many other friends and family. The family will receive friends 5:00 -7:00 pm, Saturday, April 22, 2006 with a celebration of John’s life following at 7:00 pm, at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev.
