John Robert Mccarthy

John "Jack" Robert McCarthy, 67, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Hanson, MA passed away Friday, January 6, 2012. He was the son of Philip and Elizabeth (McHale) McCarthy, born December 10, 1944 in Medford, MA. Jack was a retired high school Teacher in Abington, MA. He was a member of the Elks in Weymouth and at the Country Club of Halifax, MA. Jack enjoyed reading and as an avid golfer loved taking golfing trip all over the world. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 34 years, Kathy; brother, Philip (Sandee) McCarthy; sister, Katherine McCarthy; sister in law, Frances (Joe) Silvia and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Association.
