John H. Denby

John H. Denby, Sr., 79, of Punta Gorda, FL when he went to his Heavenly Home on April 29, 2017. He was born July 16, 1937 in Homestead, FL. John was a Pastor for over 40 years and touched thousands of lives. He loved to fish and hunt but he absolutely LOVED People. He was such a servant for Christ and he loved to worship and praised his Savior and King. He definitely fought a good fight and though we will miss him so much here on earth, we know that Heaven has gained a tremendous angel. He was a wonderful and devoted husband and was survived by his wife of 59 years, Caroline; a loving father of three, Candy (Donald), Johnny (Jennie) and Cindy (Tim); and blessed with 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Granddaughters. We will be celebrating John's life at the Memorial Service, Saturday, May 6, 2017 at 1:30 pm at Punta Gorda Nazarene Church, 512 Allen Street, Punta Gorda, Florida 33950.
