John Festa

John Festa, 90, of Port Charlotte passed away February 10, 2006. He was born December 12, 1915 in Boston, MA to Isatarro and Mary (Simone) Festa. John was a manufacturing engineer before retiring. He came to Port Charlotte in 1980 from Lynnfield, MA, and was a member of St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. John will be greatly missed by is wife of 20 years, Mary; daughter, Lorraine Reed of Lynnfield, MA; son, John A. Festa of Byfield, MA; step-daughters, Hope Panipinto and Candy Hays, both of Port Charlotte, Patty Hill of Poulsbo, WA and Cindy Eagle of Worthington, WV; step-sons, Jim Russell of Chicago, IL and Bud Russell of Arcadia; Brothers, Guy Festa of Lynnfield, MA and Larry Festa of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
