John D. Schilling

John "Dan" Schilling, 76, of Punta Gorda passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 after a long illness. Born on June 13, 1934 grew up in Akron, Ohio and moved to Florida in 1987. He was a Veteran of the Korean War and was employed by Deluca Distributing. Dan will be remembered as a beloved Husband, Daddy and Grandpa. Dan will be greatly missed by his wife of 40 years, Nancy; loving children, Charles, Sabrina, Carie and Casey; grandchildren, Keeley, Jessica, Tiffany, Daniel, Christina, Robin, Dustin, Eli and Ryan; great-grandson, Ray Ray; and many other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Theresa and granddaughter, Kristin. Rest well Dan, we love you always.
