John D. Bistarkey, Ii

John D. Bistarkey II, 86, of Port Charlotte formerly Columbus, Ohio passed away October 16, 2010. He was born February 27, 1924 in Avella, PA. John served in the Army Air Corps durig WWII and was of the Methodist faith. He was a retired supervisor with the Norton Company in Orrville, OH. John enjoyed going to the beach and swimming. John will be greatly missed by sons, Dan (Carol) Sarasota and Mike (Bonnie) of Port Charlotte; sister, Irene Beckman of CO; grandchildren, Amber, Taylor, Devon and JD and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol and son, Jeff. A memorial service will be at 6:30pm, Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Sterling House. 18440 Toledo Blade Blvd., Port Charlotte.
