Johann L. Bair

Johann L. Bair, 69, of Punta Gorda passed away September 6, 2006. She was born March 4, 1937 in Sunbury, PA to William and Verna (Morgan) Black. Johann was an office manager for a home furnishing company before retiring and moving to Punta Gorda from Elkton, MD in 1999. She was a member of the Elks and the Red Hat Society. Johann loved to bowl and traveled competing throughout the United States. She was active with her husband in the Shriners and enjoyed sailing on their boat named after her. Johann will be greatly missed by her husband of 30 years, Arnold; daughters Robin (Henry) Coleman of Elkton, MD and Linda (Martin) Gary of Valley Lee, MD; son Jeff (Dee) Sherwood of New Castle, DE; brother Robert Auten of Claymont, DE; sister Gertrude Wrightson of Newark, DE; seven grandchildren. A memorial service will be Saturday, September 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
