Joanne Brook

Joanne Brook, 58, of Punta Gorda passed away October 1, 2006. She was born November 9, 1947 in Providence, RI to Armand and Livia (Ciccone) DelPonte. Joanne moved from North Scituate, RI to Punta Gorda in 2002. She was an local artist and gift shop owner of Pepperberry Folk Art and the Wash Basin in Fisherman’s Village. Joanne was a Red Cross Volunteer during Hurricane Charley.

Joanne will be greatly missed by her mother Livia DelPonte of North Providence, RI; daughter Alicia (Dan) Wells of Chicago, ILL; sons Ken (Nicole) of Harrisville, RI and Chris (Lynn) of Hallandale Beach, FL; brothers Joseph and Peter of Johnston, RI, David of N. Kingston, RI, Paul of Kensington, MD and Stephen of Bradenton, FL; sister Donna DelPonte of North Providence, RI; grandchildren Andrew, Nathaniel and Benjamin; ex-husband Ken R. Brook.

The family will receive friends 2:00 - 3:00 pm, Tuesday, October 3, 2006 followed by service in celebration of Joanne’s life at 3:00 pm at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
