Joan Summers

Joan "Joani" Summers, 70, of Port Charlotte passed Sunday, March 31, 2013. She was born on September 27, 1942 to George and Viola Ferrone. Joani was the past Madame President of Eagles Auxiliary Aerie #3296. She will be greatly missed by her sons, Donald (Holly), David (Amy) and Dennis; brother, Vincent (Kathy) Ferrone; grandchildren, Kristina, Shannon, Shawn, Daniel, Britney, Casssandra (Tony) Halufska, Elizabeth and Dawson and great-granddaughter, Cayleigh. Joani was preceded in death by her son, Danny. A memorial service to celebrate Joani's life will be at 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Eagles Aerie #3296, 23111 Harborview Avenue, Port Charlotte.
