Joan C. Schatz

Joan C. Schatz, age 81 of Punta Gorda, FL died on August 1, 2018. Formerly of Catonsville and Ellicott City Maryland and was the daughter of Frank and Mary Chambers Schatz. She loved reading, travel and especially her Yorkies. She was a graduate of Mt. DeSales Academy in 1955 and St. Agnes School of Nursing in 1958 and later received a B.S. and M.S. in Nursing. She is preceded in death by her infant sister, Nancy, and niece, Susan Schatz. Joan will be greatly missed by her brother, Robert M. Schatz and spouse Mary Annette; nephew, Mark Schatz and spouse Kathleen; niece, Laura Nelson and spouse Alan; and several grand and great nieces and nephews. Interment will be a private service.
