Joan Arlene Frizzell

Joan Arlene Frizzell, 79, of Englewood Florida, went to be with the Lord on Feb. 25, 2018. She was born June 16, 1938 in Baltimore Maryland, to Edward and Goldie Flowers Schwartz. She was married to John (Jack) Frizzell on October 2, 1954. Joan is survived by two sons, Bill (Debbie) Frizzell of Englewood, and Mike Frizzell of Sarasota; one sister, Dorothy (Jack) Bartolomeo; one brother, Edward (Cathy) Schwartz; one granddaughter, Kristal Knott; four grandsons, Jake, Cody, Josh, and Dylan Frizzell; and 7 great grandchildren. Joan's husband John (Jack) Frizzell; son, Jackie Frizzell; sister, Amelia (Mimi) Peck; and her parents, Edward and Goldie Schwartz preceded her in death. She loved spending her time with family and friends, cooking, baking and volunteer work. She also contributed a lot of time at her church. Joan was loved by all who knew her and she will be greatly missed. A celebration of life service will be held at 1:00 on Sunday March 11, 2018 at Gulf Cove United Methodist Church 1100 S. McCall Rd.
