Jo Anne Parker

Jo Anne Parker, 79, of Punta Gorda passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015. She was the daughter of Clem and Mary Ruth Maner, born October 15, 1935 in Holly Springs, GA. Jo Anne worked as the principle's Secretary for Sally Jones Elementary School for over 30 years. She was an active member and served on the board of Punta Gorda 1st Church of the Nazarene. Jo Anne was a loving and caring wife and mother who cherished the time she spent with her family. JoAnne will be greatly missed by her son, Steve Parker; daughter, Kim Freeland; granddaughter, Krystal Parker and grandson, Kyle Freeland. She was preceded in death by her husband, Nathan and son, Dale. A memorial service to celebrate JoAnne's life will be held 1pm, May 2, 2015 at Punta Gorda 1st Church of the Nazarene. Inurnment will be at Indian Springs Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to MS Foundation or the Nazarene Church.
