Jerry I Hudelson

Jerry I. Hudelson, 72, of Lafayette, IN passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2011. He was born January 30, 1939 in Lafayette, IN to Ruel (Judd) and Helen (Kemble) Hudelson. Jerry was a US Navy Veteran and served on the USS Topeka. Jerry and Rita were former owners of the Checkerboard Tavern. Jerry was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Lafayette, IN and Trinity Methodist Church. They moved to Port Charlotte, FL in 2011. He enjoyed his gardening and being outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his wife of 33 years, Rita; sons, Bret of Lafayette, Richard (Chantel) of Fort Wayne, IN and Robert (Amy) of Meza, AZ; brother, William (Carol) of Lafayette, IN; sister Donna Smith of St. Louis, MO and 12 grandchildren.
