Jenabelle Toney

Jenabelle Toney, 89, of Punta Gorda passed away September 7, 2006. She was born August 22, 1916 in Big Rapids, MI to Charles and Jenny (McGorman) Hurst. Jenabelle retired from General Motors and moved from Pontiac, MI to Punta Gorda 29 years ago. She was a member of the Moose, V.F.W. and Eagles. Jenabelle was an avid card and bingo player. She was of the catholic faith. Jenabelle will be greatly missed by her daughters Darlene (Rodney) Wood of Clarkson, MI and Beverly (Bill) Worden of Big Rapids, MI; six grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren along with her special friend Alfred Lunn. A memorial service will be Tuesday, September 12 at 2:00 p.m. at Shell Creek Park on Washington Loop Road in Punta Gorda.
