Jeannette H. Toothaker

Jeannette H. Toothaker, 74, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away May 31st, 2019. The daughter of William and Mae Horak, she was born on February 23, 1945 in Hartford, CT. Jeannette moved to Punta Gorda in 2006 from Guilford, CT with her husband Robert. She was an Art teacher in the Connecticut school system, imparting her love for the visual arts with students of all ages. A talented sculptor, her work was shown across Connecticut, New York City, and at Punta Gordas Visual Arts Center. Jeannette will be greatly missed by her husband, Robert; two sons, Christopher and Gregory; sister, Annette; and five grandchildren. A marine memorial service will be in Punta Gorda in October.
