Janice L. Cook

Janice L. Cook, 79, of Punta Gorda passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2011. She was the daughter of William and Wandergold (Gifford) Bias, born on November 10, 1931 in Huntington, WV. Janice worked at Cracker Barrel as cashier for many years and will be remembered most for her friendship and compassion. She loved life and filled those around her with comfort and joy. Janice will be greatly missed by her sons, William Chapman of Pinellas Park, FL and Richard Chapman of Orlando, FL; daughter, Brenda Chapman of Punta Gorda; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Cathy Cook. A memorial service to celebrate Janice's life will be 3:00pm, November 6, 2011 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
