Janet May Lemaster

Janet May Lemaster, 77, of Port Charlotte passed away Sunday, April 22, 2012. She was the daughter of Bruce and Leona (Gawn) Cottrell, born September 29, 1934 in Lima, OH. Janet volunteered in teaching kindergarten with the Head Start Program in Kentucky and was voted in 1978-79 Mother of the Year for Sandy Valley in Kentucky. Janet loved and was very devoted to her family as a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Janet will be greatly missed by her 11 children, Jeannie (Donn) Stambaugh, Polly (Doug Walkowiak) Haxton, Penny (Mario) Capotorto, Betsy (Carl) Carroll, Danny (Elena) Lemaster, Connie (Tim Moran) Lemaster, Tim (Kim) Lemaster, Ron Lemaster, Melissa (Lou) Manning, Cheryl Duff and Tom (Cheryl) Focht; sister, Betty Griffin; grandchildren, Tori, Riley, Dakota, Chastity, Tifanee, Cameron, Anthony, Christopher, Jessica, Christie, Charlene, Kyle, Neil, Sean, Erica, Ryan, Adam, Meagan, Ben, Katy, Cassie, Crystal, Michael, Angela, Craig, Travis and Stacie and 30 plus great-grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. A service to celebrate Janet's life will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at Murdock Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Smith officiating.
