Janet J. Howaniec

Janet J. Howaniec, 92, of Punta Gorda, FL passed away on October 3, 2020. She was born on June 23, 1928, in Ashland, ME to Wilfred Caron and Charlene Howes Caron.  Janet was the eldest sister to Norma, Gloria, Ted, and Carol.  She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Howaniec of Lewiston, ME.

Janet was an awesome mother of 4, doting grandmother of 2, and loving great-grandmother of 4.  She really enjoyed cooking and was always cooking something up in the kitchen.  She loved any John Wayne movie, at any time, day or night, because she could never get enough of him.  She also enjoyed bowling over the years and was a Real Estate Agent in Delaware, Maryland, and Pennsylvania. 

Janet loved the warmth of the Florida sun and spending time talking with her amazing sisters, drinking red wine, and enjoying life.  She will be deeply missed forever.
