Janet J. Fox

Janet J. Fox, 71, of Punta Gorda passed away September 22, 2006. She was born April 21, 1935 in Winchester, IN to Harold and Irma (Alexander) Rowe. Janet was a volunteer Girl Scout for 50 plus years, 18 years as the city secretary for E.W.B.A., State Board Bowling IWBA, member Emeritus IWBA and member of Evansville Bowlers Hall of Fame. She was a member of Fairlawn United Methodist Church in Evansville, IN, a former teller for National Women’s Bowlers Association and President of Eagle Point Homeowners Association. Janet will be greatly missed by her husband of 52 years, Jilson; daughters Gail S. Lawrence of Cannelton, IN and Tracy L. (Ronald) Schmitt of Port Charlotte; son Mark A. (Bonnie J.) Fox of Evansville, IN; brother Phil (Wilma) Rowe of Indianapolis, IN; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. No services are planned at this time.
