James W. Schultz

James W. Schultz, 71, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of Marion, OH passed away Thursday, March 20, 2014. He was the son of Joseph and Virginia Schultz, born on September 8, 1942 in Cleveland, OH. James graduated from Shaker Heights High School and graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University. He attended graduate school at Ohio University and was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. James was a retired teacher from Marion City Schools District. He was a past chairman of the board of First Financial Legacy Funds Group. He was active in the community theater and past president of Willow Glen Homeowners Association. James was very passionate about music. James will be greatly missed by his wife of 44 years, Anne Mallard Schultz; daughter, Amy (Kurry) Commins of Fairfield, OH; son, Jonathan (Leah)Schultz of Evergreen, CO; brother, William S. Lord of Albuquerque, NM and five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Marion, OH.
