Jim was born on July 6, 1961 to James and Joyce Pacifico. He was a dedicated son to his parents. He graduated from Charlotte High School, Punta Gorda FL in 1979. He met the love of his life in 1993 when he went to the hair salon she worked at. They married on December 31, 1994. Later on in their marriage, in a note to his wife, he wrote "I knew I was going to marry you the moment I laid my eyes on you" a true testament to their true love. His daughters remember him as fun, kind and supportive father who encouraged them to pursue their goals and always do better. His grandchildren will remember him as a silly, curious, wonderful Grandpa. He was given a special name by his grandson, Patrick, he was called "Yeah-Yeah", these two had a very special bond.

Jim was a skilled lineman, working with some level of electricity right out of high school. Jim was always proud of his work as a lineman, he loved working outside, he enjoyed working with his hands and wasn't afraid to climb the highest electrical poles. He was a dedicated employee and took a lot of pride in his career. He loved spending time with his family. Jim and his wife Lisa spent countless weekends on the boat fishing together, it was a passion they shared. In more recent years Jim looked forward to spending time with his grandsons; after raising three daughters his grandsons were a lot of fun. He loved to teach them fun little pranks to play on others, how to use a sling shot, and many other "boy" things to do. He was a jokester and had a good sense of humor, he loved to make people laugh. He was a wonderful person inside and out and will be deeply missed.
