James P. Martin

James P. Martin, 68 of Punta Gorda, died Friday Sept. 12, 2008. Born to Peter and Jean (Chapas) on Nov. 21, 1939. James moved to Punta Gorda in 1996 from Denver, CO. He was a retired Visual Arts Instructor, who loved photography and sailing. James will be greatly missed by his wife of 46 years, Nancy Jean, 2 daughters Christine (Duane) Lofton of Pekin, IL. and Cheryl Martin of Fruita, Co. , 1 Brother Tom Martin of Denver, CO. 3 Grandchildren Brittany, Brandon and Sydney, and his Mother Jean Martin of Denver, CO. Visitation for James will be Tues. Sept. 16 from 1 to 2PM, with a celebration of life service to follow at 2PM at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services, Punta Gorda.
