James Clements Rousseau, Jr.

James C. Rousseau, Jr., 88, of Port Charlotte passed away December 19, 2011. The son of Adelaide (Hargrett) and James C. Rousseau, Sr., he was born on September 4, 1923 in Macon, GA. James served in the US Army during WWII and was stationed in many overseas locations, including France, Spain, Germany, and Thailand. He retired from the Army as a Sgt First Class after 26 years and then worked as an Illustrator for the DoD for 15 years. He moved from Alexandria, VA to Port Charlotte in 1985. James will be greatly missed by his wife of 52 years, Ruth; daughter, Carol Rousseau; son, James C. Rousseau III; daughter-in-law Esther Rousseau; sister, Renee Tillery; and grandson, James C. Rousseau IV. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Sue Ashley. Service will be held on (TBD) at Arlington National Cemetery.
