Inzer Amos Haft died February 13, 2007 at her residence at South Port Square in Port Charlotte. Born in Birmingham, AL, December 2, 1922, she lived for many years in Atlanta, GA, where she worked as an executive purchasing agent. Upon retirement, she moved to Punta Gorda in 1983. She was a former member of Kingway C.C., Isles Yacht Club and Burnt Store Country Club. An avid player, she will be missed by her many friends at the bridge table. Her name Inzer was a family name. The “Inzer House”, an antebellum home, built by her great grandfather John Washington Inzer, became an historical attraction in St. Clair County, Alabama. She is survived by her step-daughter, Patricia Terrell of Atlanta, the children of a step-daughter Susan, who preceded her in death, and long time friend Rebecca Durig.
