Herman “Hank” Bundschuh, 77, of Punta Gorda passed away December 1, 2006 at his residents. He was born August 28, 1929 in Union, New Jersey to Herman and Sarah Bundschuh. Hank graduated from Union High School. He worked for Carter Wallace Pharmaceutical in Cranbury, NJ for 17 years and was a secretary of his union for 10 years. After retiring he and his wife Carol Ann moved to Punta Gorda in 1995 where he worked as a Security Guard at Cypress Cove for 8 years. Hank was a member of the Punta Gorda Elks Lodge 2606. He was an avid hunter but his first love is fishing, “Captain Hank” as he was known ran a charter fishing boat at Matts Landing for 10 years. He will be greatly missed my his wife of 22 years, Carol Ann; daughter Doris Wentz of PA; son John Bundschuh of NJ; step-sons Jim Sealy of Cherry Hill and John Sealy of Trenton, NJ; step-daughters Sharyl Scilla of Upper Sadde River, Susan Milton of VA and Patricia Hopkins of Utah; 17 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Hank’s life will be 11:00 am, Saturday, December 9 at the Punta Gorda Chapel of Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
