Henry J. Kovalcik

Henry J. "Hank" Kovalcik, 78, of Port Charlotte passed away March 5, 2010. He was the son of Joseph and Anna (nee Lenard) Kovalcik, born December 5, 1931 in Ludington, MI. Hank had a successful career as a trouble-shooter hydraulic engineer, and in later years, logged many miles traveling as a customer relations specialist for the Hydreco Division of General Signal Corp in Battle Creek, MI. After retiring, he moved to Port Charlotte in 1989. Hank was an avid fisherman, boater, and outdoors man who enjoyed many adventures with his friends and "best friend," his wife, Lyn. Hank will be greatly missed by his wife of 59 years, Lyn; son Henry, Jr.; daughter, Hope; and grandchildren, Christopher, Carly, Barbie, and Shawn.
