Helen M. Newcomer

Helen M. Newcomer, 79, of Nocatee passed away September 28, 2006. She was born March 20, 1927 in Funk, Ohio to Jacob and Grace (Stull) Austin. Helen was of the Methodist faith and moved from Ashland, Ohio to Nocatee in 1987. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Myra (David) Moyers of Punta Gorda; sons Gary of Nocatee, FL, Larry (Thelma) of Punta Gorda and Robert of Ashley, Ohio; brothers Steve Smith of Wooster, Ohio, Jim (Betty) Austin of Wooster, Ohio and Charles Austin of Illinois ; sisters Ruth, Maxine and Sara all of Ohio; five grandchildren. A memorial service will be held in Ohio at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, 992 Tamiami Trail, Unit C-2, Port Charlotte, FL 33953.
