Hartford E. Short

Hartford E. Short, 82, of Punta Gorda passed away September 29, 2007. He was born May 28, 1925 in Los Angeles, CA to George and Elizabath (Shurrinton) Short. Hartford served in the US Navy during WWII. He was a self employed Entrepreneur who once worked on Errol Flynn’s sailboat and moved from San Diego, CA in 1993 to Punta Gorda. Hartford was a member of the Isles Yacht Club and enjoyed tennis, boating and dancing. He will be greatly missed by his companion, Mary Galasso of Punta Gorda; sons, Warren of Redondo Beach, CA and John Decker of San Diego, CA; sister, Barbara Jean Camody of Long Beach, CA and one grandchild, Alexandra.
