Harry W. Griswold

Harry w. “Butch” Griswold, 68, of Punta Gorda passed away November 28, 2010. He was born July 4, 1942 in Westfield, MA to Harry and Geneva Griswold. Butch enjoyed going to the beach, wood carvings, crafts, making latch hook rugs, fishing and shopping. He was member of the wheelchair bowling team. Butch will be greatly missed by his devoted wife of 21 years, Jeanette; mother, Geneva; daughters, Lori (Jack) Plotnikiewicz, Lisa (Greg) Hall; sons, Marc (Cori) of, Rob (Melisa)and Luke (Tammy); step-daughters, Theresa Murphy and Lisa Asciotti; step-son, Stephen Franklin ; brother, Donald (Linda) ; sister, Nancy (John) Rheaume; seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and his devoted companions, Ginger and Tiny. He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Cathy. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Thursday, December 9, 2010 with a service to celebrate Butch’s life to follow at 7:00 pm at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation Services.
